Applicants must have an interest in non-profit advocacy, excellent grammar and research skills, and grant writing experience. The grant-writing intern will be responsible for researching and writing grants to fund the advocacy of the group. The intern will be compensated with letters of recommendation from their supervisor and from State Representative Erica Thomas, documented community service hours, and a $10 daily per diem for lunch. 10 hours a week, preferably two 5-hour shifts.
The intern will have the freedom to create their own fundraising campaign for their portfolios.
